Vocalistul şi interpretul la muzicuţă Sugar Ray Norcia va concerta la Braşov în compania trupei sale The Bluetones, a căror componenţi sunt brand-uri artistice în sine, indiferent dacă ne gândim că basistul “Mudcat” Ward a cântat cu Eric Clapton, Keith Richards şi Levon Helm, sau că bateristul Neil Gouvin a înregistrat cu John Hammond Jr. şi Otis Grand. Mai mult, legendarul bluesman va fi acompaniat de unul dintre cei mai valoroşi chitarişti americani din clipa de faţă, Rusty Zinn, al cărui versatilitate îl face să penduleze cu naturaleţe între Blues şi Reggae, fiind în egală măsură apreciat pentru colaborările cu Kim Wilson sau John Mayall şi cele pe filiera jamaicană, cu Sly Dunbar şi Boris Gardiner.
SUGAR RAY AND THE BLUETONES… have been playing their unique style of blues the world over for almost forty years. Not limited to one style, but able to play Chicago Blues in the style of Muddy Waters. Little Walter and Billy Boy Arnold; Kansas City Swing in the style of „Big” Joe Turner; Texas Blues like „T” Bone Walker and Freddie King; and the swampy Louisiana sounds of „Lazy” Lester-all played with distinctive originality .
All of the members of Sugar Ray and the Bluetones have been featured on other Artists recordings which include Roomful of Blues,Hubert Sumlin, John Hammond, Johnny Winter, J.Geils, Otis Grand, Pinetop Perkins, The Mannish Boys, Sugaray Rayford, Debbie Davies, Duke Robillard, Ronnie Earl and many more.

Singer,harp man and three time Grammy Nominee Sugar Ray Norcia’s career kicked into high gear in 1979 when he formed the original Sugar Ray and the Bluetones with guitar giant Ronnie Earl and it has stayed there ever since.Norcia has received a total of twenty two Blues Music Award Nominations including winning two Blues Music Awards in 2014 and has appeared on over sixty albums.In 2012 Ray was inducted into Rhode Island’s Music Hall of Fame. In 2016 Sugar Ray and his band The Bluetones released a CD called “Seeing Is Believing”. Sugar Ray was nominated for an unprecedented seven 2017 Blues Music Awards including Traditional Blues Male Artist and B.B. King Entertainer of the Year!
